The flagship Salon of Antonio Axu — and the beginning of our journey

This project is more than a commission.
It is our forever heart, our very first flagship, and the starting point of a creative journey rooted in passion, courage, and love for craftsmanship.

Created for Antonio Axu — one of Sweden’s most sought-after and celebrated hairstylists, now equally renowned on the international stage — this flagship space was envisioned as a physical expression of artistry, elegance, and legacy.

Set in an extraordinary location on Östermalm — once a historic cinema where light, motion, and storytelling captivated its audience — we were given the rare opportunity to breathe new life into a space already rich with memory. Where moving images once unfolded, we sought to recreate that same sense of anticipation and drama, translated into a refined, contemporary expression.

With profound respect for the building’s past, we shaped an interior defined by gravitas and historical depth, refined through cleaner lines and an undercurrent of sensual mystique. Architectural elements, materiality, and lighting were carefully orchestrated to balance the monumental with the intimate — a space designed to both envelop and seduce.

The project unfolded as a complete creative journey, from initial sketches to realized form, culminating in a grand opening and an extraordinary photographic collaboration. Together with photographer Andreas Sundgren and florist Emelie Wallstedt, we created bespoke art exclusively for Antonio Axu’s new flagship salon — a shared artistic vision where every detail carried intention.

It was a day — and a collaboration — we will never forget.
And as the space now lives its own life, we look ahead with anticipation to its next chapter: a future transformation and a new creative project within this remarkably beautiful setting.
